Education Background :
B.Sc. with Diploma in Computers/IT or B.Sc. (IT) or B.C.A.
Job Specification :
1-2 years of working experience in Windows 2003/2008 Server Administration, Network Administration
Essential Skills –
Working knowledge of
• Windows 2003/2008 Server,Active Directory,DHCP, DNS…Configuration & Administration
• IT Infrastructure monitoring &routine health checkups
• WAN, LAN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, TCP/IP and Ethernet
Desirable Skills
Basic Knowledge in the following areas
•Server &Storage hardware technologies
•Information Security Systems Management
•Backup tools
•Linux Administration
•ITIL framework
Preferable Skills
Microsoft Certification (Windows 2008)
Should be able to work in rotating Shifts.
Job Description :
Responsible for Providing Level1 support for Network, Server, Storage & Security Infrastructure
•Monitoring & Administration of Network devices, Routers, Switches, Firewalls
•Monitoring & Administration of Servers & Storage
•Troubleshooting & Detection of Hardware/OS problems
•Execute Installation, configuration, testing and deployment of Hardware, OS& layered product
•Monitoring& MaintainingSystem level securities, Hardening, Anti-Virus & OS Patch Management
•Scheduling & Monitoring Backup including Media Management
•Monitoring& maintaining the defined Service Levels Agreements with Vendors
•Co-ordination with vendors for L2/L3 Support in troubleshooting & other activities
•Preparing & Submitting on time daily, weekly, monthly shift reports as laid down to Management
