  • Degree in Computer Science or related field OR 1-2 years of relevant experience

Job Responsibilities :

  • Image systems using enterprise tools, deploy hardware, install software as needed and complete final user configurations on newly deployed systems.
  • Complete physical inventory and assist in maintaining the CSS storage areas.
  • Diagnose and resolve end user system and software problems in a highly complex distributed computing environment while complying with the agreed upon Service Levels.
  • Utilize Remote Assistance Tools in troubleshooting workstation issues.
  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve end user hardware issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and workstation hardware/software.
  • Troubleshoot, research, and resolve end user standard applications (MS Office 2013 Suite, custom and commercial off-the shelf) issues in workstations with multiple platforms and operating systems at a higher technical level.
  • Handle virus alerts by ensuring that computers have latest anti-virus software and definitions, and clean virus and malware from infected devices.
  • Collaborate with other IT service teams, validate solutions to ensure incident or service request is adequately resolved, verify with customers, and coach users in correcting reported problems as appropriate.
  • Actively manage assigned tickets with accurate and timely information and escalate as needed.
